Summer Internship - Business Analyst

Odfjell Terminals operates as an active, industrial owner with a disciplined focus on safety and value creation. By leveraging Odfjell’s know-how, brand, and customer reach, we support our empowered, high-quality local management teams in driving commercial performance, operational improvements, and pursuing accretive expansions. Our terminal platform comprises four jointly owned terminals across the US, Belgium, and South Korea, with Odfjell’s 2024 EBITDA share totaling USD 44 million.

The summer internship at our Bergen headquarters offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to work alongside executives and industry experts at the intersection of operations, strategy, finance, and investment in the maritime industry.

KEY TASKS:

• Assist in conducting market research
• Prepare and analyze datasets and report on relevant findings
• Support the development of investment theses, presentations, and other material in relation to above
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Terminals HQ team in Bergen

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed 2^nd or 3^rd year of Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as finance/economics, engineering, computer science or similar
• Experience in organizing, analyzing and presenting data
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint –experience with PowerBI, programming, and AI literacy are considered a plus

The internship period will be from 4-6 weeks, flexibility related to period, from June until end August.
For the right candidate, there may be opportunities for part time work after the summer internship has ended.
